JHammondC is Hammond Chamberlain. I am a father, husband and would-be creator of many things. For a while, I worked in theater building sets, hanging lights, and running shows. I have been a professional harmonica player. For the last few years, I have been working to learn how to play the amazing Chapman Stick. I have written short stories and plays, but never really shared them with anyone. I have always felt the need to be creative. It brings me peace and joy.

Beyond the Playlist with JHammondC is a podcast that I created to explore that need to create. I talk to creative people in all disciplines. I have interviewed writers, podcasters, artists, filmmakers, actors, and musicians. There is are two things that I am learning: one, increasingly creative people are not focusing on a single aspect anymore, and two, There seems to be an intrinsic need to create that can be found in everyone. I feel that it just needs to be nurtured.

I used to be on GrumpyCast. I co-hosted with Darrell Skeels (The Trek Nerd). And later we added Joey Image.  We talked freely about things that – well – make us grumpy. Sometimes the topics are light-hearted complaining about trivial things, other times we talk about real issues that are affecting us in our lives. Either way, it is fun to complain and share what’s bothering me with someone else is an open setting like that. Even though I am no longer on the show, I feel very connected to it and my friends that continue to carry the grumpy torch.

Booth at the End Podcast is a show that I Co-Hosted with Joel Robertson (Forgotten Flix). We went into a full in-depth conversation about the Hulu Original Series Booth at the End. This is an amazing show and I am really happy about getting the chance to do the podcast with Joel.

Brian Ibbott and I are hosting Soundography. This is a show that I am taking a lot of pride in. We go deep into popular music. One band at a time. We look at their history, their entire catalog and more.

Recently, I have been making regular appearances on The Citadel Cafe with Joel Duggan. I really enjoy spending time talking to him about whatever nerdy or geeky things that I have been consuming.

Andrew Rosen-

Andrew Rosen: Armed with over 15 years of writing, editing, and management experience, I am currently responsible for print publications that are sent to over 3 million households, websites that receive over 40 million annual page views, digital magazines that are emailed to 2.9 million people and an operational budget north of $11 million.

Finding online marketing opportunities and leveraging print publications (it’s not dead yet!) to drive new business is what I do.

In 2017, I completed several Harvard ManageMentor leadership development courses: Time Management, Change Management and Customer Focus.

So how can I help you?

My career highlights are varied. A few favorites:

- I led a comprehensive overhaul of AAA New York’s corporate website, including architecture, design and introducing a new content management system. My amazing team, working with several external vendors, pulled off the project in 8 months on what we’ll (kindly) call a “shoestring” budget. The result? A 30% increase in page views, a 4% reduction in bounce rate and an 18% increase in online transactions.

- More than 10 years ago I launched a career advice podcast that has been downloaded several million times. The companion blog continues to be a profit center and an SEO success.

- I've recording artists like Coldplay, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Wallflowers and dozens more while working at MTV Networks.

Julie Neale-

Mother’s Quest Founder, Julie Neale honors both the magic and the mess of parenthood and believes our children challenge us to grow into our best selves. She is on a mission to live a truly E.P.I.C. life and, through her example, inspire her children to do the same.

Her “for-purpose” venture, Mother’s Quest, provides inspiration, coaching and community so other mothers can live their E.P.I.C. lives.

After a 20-year career as a leader in youth-serving non-profit organizations, Julie turned her focus to coaching, training at the Coaches Training Institute, and facilitating a process known as “reflection” for youth development professionals.

Through this and her parenting experience, she realized that mothers need an opportunity to reflect on their own growth, dreams, and plans and created Mother’s Quest to champion them. She writes about the transformative experience of parenting in her own life at mothersquest.com and hosts the Mother’s Quest Podcast, which launched in December.

Julie received her Masters in City Planning, Community Development from UC Berkeley and a BA in Communication Studies from UCLA, where she met her husband. She currently lives with her husband and two boys in the San Francisco Bay Area.

When she’s not wrestling with her preschooler or driving her pre-teen to basketball practice, you can find her squeezing in ten minutes of yoga and meditation (believing something is better than nothing!) and staying up way too late to watch a double-hitter of Game of Thrones and Super Soul Sunday.

Logan Tyler Nelson-

My names Logan Tyler Nelson and when I’m not writing about myself I’m doing one of the following- walking, breathing in fresh air, eating, listening to a podcast or an audiobook, rehearsing talks or getting a workout in. I’m ALWAYS- Scratching My Own Itch (A.K.A being curious about people.)

I am not going to lie to you though and pretend I’m perfect.

I have trained my mind to be really negative on the outside and be positive on the outside. I’ve sabotaged everything good that’s happened in my life or on the contrary. Blamed myself for anything that was good in my life.

If I had a good job. I found a way to screw it up and screw myself over.

I’ve stolen.

Cheated on tests.

Lied to friends.

And even attempted suicide.

When my mom died at age 11 I felt like it was my fault and that I should have spent more time with her in the hospital.

When I got honors in college I told myself “well, I’m an acting major. No one fails acting.”

With all this trauma I felt completely alone. Which led to me trying to take my life.

The best thing that happened to me was I found out through the Power of Mental Health that I wasn’t alone.

And you aren’t either. You have a dream.

Whether you’re a boss, side hustler, creative, fitness enthusiast, or business owner who has dealt personally with depression, ADHD, or anxiety. I want you to know you are not alone.

And while I do love a good Oprah or Richard Branson quote, I believe we need a little more than that to get us moving. We need a toolbox full of actionable ways to create the life we want, and my goal is to provide people with those tools – so they can start building that life tomorrow.

So wait, what exactly do you do?

I am a coach, speaker, writer, and business strategist. I’m an avid investor in projects I believe in.

And I love having a job where I can help people find, shape, and focus those things in a way to get more, give more, and overall make A Life Worth Living.

Cherish Lee-

Meet Cherish Lee. She is quickly becoming known as country music's "rebel with a heart of gold"! She's not only an artist, but an honest to God, down and dirty servant to all those that are beat down and in need of love.  Whether animal or person, Cherish has always had a heart to help them.  To all those she helps, she's a tattooed princess, but she's not all angel! Cherish Lee refuses to play by some of the country music industry’s biggest rules! In Lee's own words, "I refuse to pay money to make it on the ‘music charts!’ I want it to happen, because I worked my ass off, and people actually want to hear my songs! What happened to passion, story telling, rebels with a cause, and music that had its merits in how DAMN good it was, and how it made you feel?  Our forefathers in music would be ashamed of us." Lee's album cost less than $1,500 to record, reminiscent of Nirvana's first album, "Bleach", which cost $600.

Lee's first-time producer, Nate Wedan, quickly found the heartbeat of the album and added his own spectacular flair to it. Cherish says "I wanted to have the people on this album, who made my heart skip a beat when I saw them live, and that’s what I did.  I couldn't have made the album without the people I've been blessed to co-write with, all the badass musicians that worked on it and Wedan. I was respectfully allowed to be the artist, and most importantly, a mother. Nobody flinched at Wyatt (Lee's son) coming into the studio with me, and in many of the sessions, I'd be holding him while cutting vocals!"

Cherish has seen how hard the business is first hand through her father, Johnny Lee (country music legend, Urban Cowboy's "Lookin' For Love") and mother, Charlene Tilton (television sex pot vixen, Lucy Ewing on hit TV show, “DALLAS”). She quickly gained her own recognition as a singer and songwriter in THE Music City. Lee's album is truly homegrown-- a Cinderella piece that is just flat out cool.  This October 2017, Lee is releasing her first single "Tequila Cowgirl," along with her music video debut.

“Tequila Cowgirl” is about an all American girl- a hard worker; she's got her head on straight, knows right from wrong and lives by that. She loves Jesus and tequila. She loves her animals and is thankful for what she has. While she doesn't need a man and won't share her bed with just anyone, she is looking forward to meeting the right one. Any guy would be considered lucky to bring her home to meet his mama, and every girl wants to be her best friend! The song has an intimate, nostalgic feel to it with a healthy dose of country music.

The full, aptly- named album, "Tequila Cowgirl" is scheduled for release in January 2018. It's honest music that tells a story, and Lee's voice conveys it beautifully, with all the attitude that her fans have come to expect from her.

Pre-sales for the single, "Tequila Cowgirl" begin October 8, 2017 on iTunes

Nancy Carmichael-

Nancy Carmichael is the Proprietor and Chief Misfit of the IsleofMisfits.com, a blogging and podcasting Oasis for self proclaimed square pegs, far and wide.  Through it she hopes to build a community of people who own their awkward, love their fellow misfit and embrace beauty and truth in the weirdness of life. Aside from this, one of her main claims to fame is being merely 1 degree separated from Kevin Bacon, thanks to a friend who once played a stand in for his leading lady in the 80’s classic “She’s Having a Baby”. As if it could get any better, Nancy is married to a man so good it took EHarmony to help her find him, and a daughter she will obnoxiously brag about if given even half a chance.  She has spent her life communicating good news wherever in the world the door opens, through writing, singing, speaking, coaching, counseling and advocating for those whom society often overlooks.

The film was completed in 1999, favorably reviewed and featured in the Los Angeles Times, (http://articles.latimes.com/1999/feb/19/entertainment/ca-9444), and it had a successful theatrical run at several of the Laemmle Theaters in Los Angeles. It has played extensively at both domestic and international film festivals and is currently available on both Netflix and Amazon ( http://www.poetandcon.com/ )

In Hollywood, Trules has worked as Director of Development for Patrick Wells & Associates, producer of the feature films, YOUNGBLOOD and I LOVE YOU TO DEATH. He has directed music videos, industrials, documentaries, and short narrative features. As a screenwriter he has completed several original screenplays, sold one to HBO which was produced and broadcast on Cinemax, and has adapted crime fiction writer Jim Thompson’s novel, KING BLOOD, into a feature length screenplay.

As a theatrical producer, Trules has presented theater festivals, dance events, and live performance in Chicago, New York, and LA, also for the last 45 years. As founder and Artistic Director of the SPOKEN WORD FESTIVAL (SWF), a Los Angeles non-profit, multi-cultural arts organization which produces and presents multi-disciplinary performance work to the inner-city, underserved LA community, Trules has produced 4 seasonal arts festivals in Los Angeles since 1990. He produced SOLO/LA in 1995 at CBS Studios Radford and SANTA MONICA FESTIVAL ’91, bringing together groups such as the San Francisco Mime Troupe, Latins Anonymous, and Cold Tofu for a two day multi-cultural celebration of the performing arts for the City of Santa Monica on the Santa Monica Pier. Receiving funding from the NEA, the California Arts Council, the LA Cultural Affairs Department, and the California Community Foundation, Trules produced WORD/LA, AN ORAL RESPONSE TO THE RODNEY KING VIOLENCE in 1992, a 5 site, City-wide program in response to 1992’s civil unrest, which was documented and broadcast on KCET, Los Angeles’ PBS affiliate.

In 2002, as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia, Trules began developing a new travel website and blog, “e-travels with e. trules”.

e-travels-flyer-smaller

A literary, graphic, and pictorial site of “travelogues, rants, and reports from around the world”, the site has over 6000 “likes” on Facebook. Ranging in stories from Deadwood, South Dakota, in 1969 (shown in a humorous flash movie technique), to a cremation ceremony in Bali with Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon in 2000, to visiting with the Incas and llamas in Machu Pichu in 2003, to seeing images of Osama Bin Laden on the screensavers of his Malaysian colleagues shortly after 9/11, “e-travels” is an idiosyncratic and colorful site, establishing Trules as a popular presence in the era of cyberspace and blogs. In November, 2016, Trules launched his NEW TRAVEL PODCAST of the same name, “e-travels with e. trules.

Trules’ personal WordPress blog is “trules rules”.

In 2014, Trules began blogging for the Huffington Post and the Cultural Weekly, and in 2015, he presented “An Evening with Eric Trules”, a 90 minute solo show produced by Eve Brandstein’s Poetry in Motion” at Beyond Baroque, LA’s most prestigious literary venue.

Also in 2015, Trules gave a TEDxFulbright Talk called “The Train of Opportunity”, at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica.

The LA Times has said about Trules’ work: “Trules is an original. He turns his vivid writing into dark/comic lacerations building to the cosmic. His work reverberates with grit.”

And the Edinburgh Scotsman: “Trules is an accomplished writer; he has both a feel for contemporary idiom and a poetic imagination that echoes the great American playwrights.”

Kenneth Kully-

Hi, I am Kenneth Kully. I've been a passionate advocate for cyber security - especially of industrial control systems - since I joined Honeywell's Industrial Cyber Security group eight years ago. And after a brief departure therefrom, I am once again working with that same group as a Cyber Security Analyst.

But work isn't everything. I'm also an avid podcaster, running two different podcasts about subjects that have commanded my interest for years: video games (especially how they work and are designed), and Scouting. I'm still actively involved with Scouts Canada; I was a youth member thereof for 21 years, and now I serve as a Scouter for the group my children have joined.

Caroline Staley-

I'm Caroline Staley and I live in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I studied Studio Art at The College Of Charleston and went on to pursue my dreams of travel and marital bliss. After 16 years, a very supportive husband and three children, I felt the need to “find my passion” and it led me back to my art. It started with a piece or two for my own house or for a friend.

With much unexpected encouragement from friends and strangers I have turned my passion into a career. I am guided by my love for the sea and all things salty! While not completely confined to coastal decor, I have the ability to branch out into other themes when the inspiration strikes! For many years, my husband claimed that I spent my days “gallavanting” around town, while unbeknownst to him, I was really in the trenches of laundry, diapers, baby food and homework!

When I began painting again, I used the pen name “Gallavantor” in order to avoid criticism from the unknown. I started a Facebook and Instagram page under that name and almost immediately my work became coveted as quickly as I could paint it! It soon became known to family and friends that Caroline and the “Gallavantor” were the same person. Where had she been hiding this talent all of these years!?!?!?! Some of my work can be seen at the Treasure Nest Art Gallery in Mt. Pleasant, SC.and all of my work can be viewed at Facebook/TheGallavantor or on Instagram as @Gallavantor. You may also contact me for private scheduled commission appointments
