Bill Griggs-

Hi, I'm BiIl Griggs and I am a Father, Writer, Maker, Tinkerer, Innovator, Jazz Hack, Woodworker, Volunteer and Entrepreneur. I have been building CNC machines since 1999 and I built my first CNC Router table in 2005.

I wanted a CNC Router table to make it easier for me to make model airplane kits and custom parts. Commercial CNC machine were very expensive (and still are) and were out of my reach. So I decided I would try to build my own from plans on the internet.

My first efforts were made from MDF, Gas pipe and roller skate bearings. I soon realized that my MDF machine was finicky and too small. So I began design work on a larger machine. About the time I got the drawings finished, someone else came out with plans for an even larger machine. I dropped my design and began building this tested design instead. I completed construction of my second machine in 2009. It was called a Joescnc 4×4 Hybrid.

In 2010 I decided to create a totally new style of Z axis for my machine. I called this the Warp Drive Project. As a result of the success of the Warp Drive Project, I came to the attention of Morrisville State College. I became an assistant and then an Adjunct Instructor and taught the students how to design and build CNC Router tables.

While all this was going on I began blogging about my obsession with CNC machines and creating Youtube videos. I wanted to share what I was learning with anyone who was interested.

I am convinced that CNC Routers can restart the Cottage Industry by giving people the chance to create custom designed art and products which they can market globally. I want to share that opportunity with you.

David Henzel-

David Henzel-I’m a serial entrepreneur and I write about things I have learned along the way. I’m passionate about helping entrepreneurs and executives to find success and harmony in business and at home.

How does applying business principles to family life even work?

I have been a successful entrepreneur while struggling to manage my life at home. My relationship with my wife, Yurda, was getting strained. As she recovered from serious illness, I had a wake-up call.

I corrected my course and, besides being a successful business leader, became a better father and spouse.

Curious about what I did?

I managed to solve 80% of our relationship struggles by applying business principles to my personal life.

That involved crafting my personal mission statement, having weekly meetings with my spouse to discuss our expectations, clearly laying down our roles and responsibilities and a lot more.

You can check out my 6-part course Managing Happiness that discusses the system Yurda and I have perfected in detail. It has received rave reviews from the first batch of crazy entrepreneur students.

Greg Johnson-

Hi! I’m Greg Johnson – AKA @RecruitinGreg - your friendly neighborhood recruiter. I’ve made thousands of calls – sent thousands of emails – read hundreds of blogs – watched just as many videos – practiced well over 10,000 hours – all in the name of helping hundreds of people find jobs they love.

Regardless of the stigmas that are put on the staffing industry I LOVE what I get to do on a daily basis. I’ve been unemployed and know how much that can suck. My whole goal is to do what is right. Not by whatever metric is put in place to say if I’m successful or not – but by the people that I speak to and work with in the tech space.

Admittedly, I am very quirky. Which works perfectly for the people that I represent because we’re all basically a bunch of nerds.

My passion outside of my traditional 9-5 (more like 7:30AM to 5:30PM and then from 9PM-midnight but that's a different story) is to coach people on how to stand out in the industry. By doing that I’m able to improve the lives of not just the people that I employ – but also our veterans, women in or trying to break into tech, as well as the underrepresented – underpaid – undereducated in the community.

Through User Groups, Meet Ups, and conversations over a delicious cup of caffeinated goodness or a plate of food, I hope to destroy diversity gaps within my sphere of influence. If that’s something that you want to jump on board with then reach out with an invite to connect or with a message telling me how you want to get involved.

Shobana Patel-

I am Shobana Patel. I am many things to many people but to me I am just me. The very fact that you have stumbled across my profile means that we are now connected.

There is no such thing as coincidence so if anything on my pages resonates with you (even just one small thing) then half of my work is done. As the saying goes ‘we make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give’.

I aim to INSPIRE self-reflection in individuals. I am fascinated with human behaviours and through my platform I consider how we can 'slow-down to speed-up' in our super-fast world and find purpose. I advocate a reclamation our humanness.

I aim to MOTIVATE change in organisations. I am intrigued with collective behaviours and through my platform I explore how we can trigger 'conscious conversations' in our often parochial organisations. I advocate a move towards multidisciplinary practices.

I aim to PROVOKE a reexamination of society. I am beguiled by life’s intangibles and through my platform I ruminate on our 21st century world in relation to our history as a human race. I advocate a revival of ancient philosophies and spiritual inquisition to help us better understand ourselves.
