Lindsay is a public speaking & theater coach that teaches teens how to leverage theater techniques in their speaking so they can become more confident communicators, find their unique voice, and expand their future personal & career opportunities.

She’s recently created online coaching programs with focus on teaching her students how to start sharing their unique legacy early in life through magnetic performances that resonate with their audiences’ needs.

Through her website, TheaterThinking.com, she shares blog posts and resources, for parents and educators looking to support their youths’ creative speaking & personal development.

She enjoys sharing her story about how taking drama classes at a young age helped her to learn the communication and mental skills necessary to thrive--despite years of school bullying and an emotionally abusive home life. Her work aims to create a generation of confident teens who know their worth, how to connect face to face, and who know failure is a pit-stop on the path to success. She does this by speaking, writing, coaching, and hosting workshops about creative communication, dismissing the negative voice your head, and making failure part of regular family culture.

When she’s not helping her clients to create a healthy relationship with public speaking, she can be found playing “hide-the-cup” with her 3 sons and husband or teaching them improv games over dinner.

I am a 51 year old full time stay at home mum of 6. My youngest child, my only daughter has full trisomy 18. 3 and a half years ago she had a catastrophic medical event where she lost over 3/4s of her bowel. After 6 months in hospital figuring out with the experts how to get us home since she survived I now find myself in a very unique situation. We have no one that can advise us now.

She is now almost 11 years old attend school and does most things genetics said wasn't possible even if she lived past 1 year.  :)

I am her major caregiver and I have found myself somewhat unwittingly an expert in both areas and I'd like to share my message. Especially the part about these children being incompatible with life therefore medical intervention is not an option. Then there is a list of reasons siting why. Usually they

I kind of arrive at this online stuff when I realized I best up skill if my daughter is here to stay and I need to create a lifestyle and income around her busy routine.

I since found marketing and branding online by way of an amazing training program and from there I realized I had a passion for writing and speaking once I dumped my fears the the dreaded voice of ego.

And so now I find myself here after doing some training to launch me onto the TEDx scene. I'm not too sure how I am going to get there but I sincerely know I will.

Thank you so much for your time.

You ask, what do I represent? Who are you?

“To be a fad or to be foundational? True in all aspects of health and wellness”

The question and words above have rang through my head for the past three years. Being foundationally centered in all aspects to reach success means taking the shovel and working hard for as long as it is with a pen and paper.

I represent the average Joe that continues to take hold of a passion and not let it go; creating, evolving as time passes, never separating the final private purpose foundational in my heart.

Through trials and true struggles, inner strength develops the foundations to success. I aim to reconstruct a business that creates an environment reflected from that, which is within.

I am currently located in Alberta, Canada where I continue to develop and work on my passions and future dreams.

I have created a group to help combat the aftermath of those suffering with PTSD.

Please Join Astraea Pass It On.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/191876727892197/

You will be inspired, uplifted and motivated by each other.

The need to be inspired, uplifted and motivated is GREAT.

You may someday have a loved one or friend with PTSD, or you may have it yourself. If we came together as a group, just be a group, made to inspire, uplift and motivate each other, we would have created a movement built on forward thinking, positive energy/love & truth.

Your love and support will help prevent suicides, depression, and of the like.

Furthermore, if you don't suffer from PTSD love, support and motivation will allow you become a healthier, happier you!

Think of the glorious things you can do with inspiration...

Leon Logothetis is a global adventurer, motivational speaker & philanthropist. It wasn’t always that way. He used to be a broker in the city of London where he felt uninspired and chronically depressed. He gave it all up for a life on the road. This radical life change was inspired by the inspirational movie The Motorcycle Diaries.

The days of living and working behind his ‘slab of wood’ (or desk to the layman) are well and truly over. His new passion: Finding ways for your inner rebel (that voice that tells you, you are worth so much more than you think) to come out and play.

The inner rebel tells you that your life is yours.  And anything you dream of is possible. Anything. And that the fuel for all this delicious potential is simple: Kindness and harnessing the power of human connection. And. Doing it all with a smile on your face and a spring in your step!

Leon has visited more than 90 countries and traveled to every continent. He is the host of the TV series Amazing Adventures Of A Nobody, which is broadcast across the world by National Geographic International and, over the course of three seasons, sees Leon cross America, the United Kingdom and Europe on just 5 dollars, 5 pounds, and 5 euros a day, respectively.

He recently returned from filming his new TV show The Kind Way Around, in which he circumnavigated the globe on his vintage yellow motorbike Kindness One, giving life changing gifts along the way to unsuspecting good Samaritans. All of this whilst relying on the kindness of strangers.

Leon is no stranger to adventure. He teamed up with First Book® & drove a car from London to Mongolia raising money to buy 10,000 books for underprivileged children in America. He also drove a vintage London taxi across America, giving free cab rides to the needy and working with Class wish to bring hope back to the schools of America.

Leon has documented his travels for numerous media outlets including Good Morning America, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Outside, Good, Psychology Today, and The New York Times.

His books, Amazing Adventures of a Nobody and The Kindness Diaries are in stores now. His new book Live, Love, Explore: Discover the Way of the Traveler a Roadmap to the Life You Were Meant to Live, published by Readers Digest, is available December 2016.

Dawn M Hafner, CPA, MBA, CPC, QPA

I’ve worked over the past twenty years in the financial industry, leading teams, coaching employees, and providing client service. In addition to my writing and coaching, I am COO and shareholder at Kidder Benefits Consultants, Inc.

I write my own posts about topics that inspire me to be my best self and achieve presence. I also do many posts that are book summaries. I’ve found that many people are interested in the topics I study, but they are not necessarily flush with time to read. I try to help by offering book summaries of key points I learned and sharing.

Over my career I have had one theme that has helped me find success and balance.

BE Where You Are.

I latched onto this phrase to guide my choices when I became a mom and struggled to balance work, parenting and time for self.  BE Where You Are means to  embrace where you are in this current moment.  We can only focus on what we are doing in the moment. Once we learn how to fully submit to the present, we can evaluate, and guide our compass towards where we want to arrive in the future.

BE Coaching – when you are ready to give yourself the gift of focusing on your dreams.

We all came here for a reason.  Our main purpose is to find that reason and share it with the world. The truth that is already deep within you and has been since before the day you were born. All you have to do is get out of your own way.

Shannon Elhart has a different approach to living a happy life. She believes you need to dive into your pain (rather than avoid it) to find true, lasting joy. After her newborn’s death, she had a defining moment when she realized she had choice - let that pain define and limit her, or heal it consciously.

Shannon chose to heal, and by doing so she - surprisingly - found more pain from her past: from being raped as a teenager, from addiction to alcohol, from divorce, and from a lifelong struggle with a lack of self-worth.

As she healed more and more, she became happier, more confident and fulfilled. Now she teaches people worldwide how to heal the pain from their past in her program The Healing Journey . You can learn more about Shannon and her program at http://shannonelhart.com/the-healing-journey-join-us/

Ever since high school, I've spent a lot of time reading self-development books, no matter how nerdy it made me feel to be reading one of those "Why Your Twenties Matter!" kind of books. I enjoy a life of constantly trying to push myself into new situations in order to grow and keep my life interesting.

In 2013, I enrolled at the University of Southern California. I always wanted to travel and this was the best excuse to move 3,000 miles from home to sunny Los Angeles. I knew I was in for something new and exciting, and I can confirm that with each and every opportunity and friendship that has been thrown my way.

Through my experiences learning about entrepreneurship, economics, and freedom, I've been able to network with some of the country's most brightest students at Young Americans for Liberty and FEE, the Foundation for Economics Education. In 2015, I even got to meet Dr. Ron Paul himself, one of my personal heroes.

When I talk to many of my peers, I notice the lostness they feel in their general life direction. They see it as a problem with themselves, while I see it as a country-wide university system that has failed to grow since the founding years of these institutions. There is a better way to educate students and this university system has been long in need of an overhaul.

After careful thought and consideration, I felt like it was time to take a pause on my 15th straight year of traditional schooling and make a bold move. I started Praxis.

AN ENTREPRENEURIAL PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.

If you have ever said things like:

  • "I like college. I just don't like the classes."
  • "I just want my degree so that I can go get a real job."
  • "A little piece of my soul dies every time I sit through a boring lecture."

Then you will love what I write.

I study the habits and routines of the successful people and translate it back to you in a digestable format. I believe that no matter your "educational" background, you always have the power to control your life.

Today's education system is handicapping ambitious young people. It's making them bored and uninspired in life.

Yet with so many parents, teachers, and guidance counselors pushing you towards college, saying "no" becomes increasingly difficult. You deserve a better solution. You need a path that works for you.

I want to help you in the process of creating that path.

For any questions, reach out to me at: evanduyLe@gmail.com.

PS: My interests include mixology, powerlifting, traveling, MMA, WWE, and all things Final Fantasy.

Three years ago, I decided to pull out all the stops and follow my heart. I moved my longtime Paris psychotherapy practice online and came to India on a one-way flight. Wherever I went, I met Indian families who, upon learning that I’m a psychotherapist, asked me for help. I spent 6 months travelling to many places in India staying in 15 different families and helping them understand and move past their issues. It was a deeply soulful and enriching experience.  In spite of my intentions to stay on the road, a series of coincidences/synchronicities landed me up in a room in a beach side apartment in Mumbai. I quickly realized it was time to complete a book I’d been working on very sporadically for many years. Psychology in the Light of the East (Rowman & Littlefield) is coming out next month! I continue working online with my psychotherapy and coaching clients around the world and in India. I do my best to fully live by my belief in following my inner calling. Inner and outer barriers are nothing but opportunities for deeper understanding, growth and transcendence.

Shanelle, is sometimes referred to as the “Catalyst” for her ability to affect cultural shifts in organizations or as the “Energizer” for her coaching skill that brings out the untapped energy and talents in people. Her presentations combine real-life stories, business training, and interactive events that connect with the audience at a personal, intense and individual level.

Shanelle Calvin is the CEO of SC Coaching, LLC where she helps women entrepreneurs save time, money and headaches. SC Coaching, LLC is committed to helping women entrepreneurs earn more by increasing their performance through effective training, communication, digital product creation, and process improvement. She is the Founder of Success U with Coach Shanelle a virtual training academy for women entrepreneurs on the go.

Prior to her opening her business, Shanelle worked as Membership Manager at the American Institute of Architects in Virginia, and earned a reputation as one of the most detailed, thoughtful and patient liaisons in the architectural community. In her 10+ years with AIA Virginia Shanelle helped streamline the association data, create a membership orientation program, strengthen alliances with five local components, and retain over 90% of their members.

In 2010, the architectural community was hit hard. Shanelle and other staff with AIA were furloughed and lost 2 months of paychecks. She hit the ground running and started consulting. This process was isolating and hard to navigate, so she went looking for a tribe of women entrepreneurs for support and connection. Shanelle found a void in the marketplace for networking for and among women that were focused, energetic, and authentic. She founded Empowering Her Events, an events production company that hosted interactive events to empower women to find their voice, communicate their worth, and reach their goals. While there, she produced Build Your Business, a quarterly workshop series that helped women entrepreneurs build business in a down economy.  The workshop series was free and connected women in Virginia with their fellow entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and learn together.

The Building Your Business workshop series led to being a small business correspondent on the radio, and the creation of SC Coaching, LLC. Shanelle is often asked to speak at events on the subjects of: women entrepreneurs, pricing, leadership development and training, process improvement and system implementation, workforce development and team building, client attraction and retention, and relationship building through effective communication.

Shanelle strongly believes that communication and service have the power to support and reshape her community. She volunteers as a President and Area Director for Toastmasters International, on Collections Committee at the Valentine, as a Facilitator for the Divorce Recovery Workshop at First Baptist Church, as the Outreach Team Lead for TEDxRVA, and is also an honorary member of Building Economic Stability Together.
